Medical Director Congratulates Staff on the New Year; Calls for Renewed Commitment and Positive Change
Thursday, 1st January 2026.
Dear Esteemed Members of Staff,
Permit me, on this momentous occasion, to most heartily welcome each and every one of you to this brand new year, 2026.
To God alone be all glory, honour, and adoration for His unfailing mercies and uncommon love which saw us through the year 2025. No doubt, the year was characterized by enormous challenges; however, we give thanks to God Almighty who stood solidly by us—both as families and as an institution.
It gladdens my heart therefore, to extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to every one of you as we emerged from the year 2025 victorious and without a scratch.
The beginning of a new year such as this, offers us a unique opportunity to reflect on the journey behind us and to embrace the prospects ahead with renewed hope, focus, and determination.
It is to this end that I urge us all to recommit ourselves to the core values that define us—excellence, integrity, dignity, and compassion.
Together, we shall continue to strengthen our systems, improve service delivery, embrace innovation, and uphold the highest standards of healthcare practice for the benefit of those we serve.
I am confident that with unity of purpose and collective effort, this year will usher in greater achievements, professional fulfilment, and institutional growth for us all.
Let me reiterate that I fully understand the sensitivity and responsibility of the office of the Medical Director to which I have been appointed.
Since the announcement of my appointment in November last year, I have deliberately engaged in activities aimed at charting a new and purposeful course for our institution.
The time has come for us to break away from the challenges of the past as we strive towards building a delightful, enterprising, and respectable corporate image.
I remain firmly committed to my cherished principles of accountability, integrity, an open-door policy, improved healthcare service delivery, and enhanced staff welfare.
The mantra of this administration is anchored on holistic rebranding, repositioning, and re-strategising to ensure efficient service delivery.
This is not mere rhetoric; we are deliberate, intentional, and committed to achieving these goals.
In view of this, I appeal to the entire hospital workforce to approach your duties in the New Year with utmost commitment, renewed dedication, and a positive work attitude.
Millions of Nigerians look up to this Centre for the provision of quality, courteous and timely medical services, and I am confident that we shall not let them down.
Institutional excellence must, at all times, remain the backbone of our collective success.
On behalf of Management, I wish you and your families a New Year filled with good health, peace, divine favour, and renewed strength.
Happy New Year.
Warm regards,
Titilola Sarah Ibiyemi
Medical Director
