Brief History of the Medical Library
The Medical Library is a special Library but academic in nature that continues to play the traditional role of connecting users to health/scientific information through provision of relevant health information resources (in print and electronic formats) needed by healthcare providers/caregivers and researchers for education, research and clinical care. It educates its users in the best methods to search, access, organize and use these resources. It also provides a conducive atmosphere for studying in support of academic, capacity building and research activities in the centre. It opens 8am – 7:30pm (Mondays – Fridays) and 8am – 2pm (Saturdays)
