FMCA NURSING SERVICES DEPARTMENT EULOGISES MEDICAL DIRECTOR ON FUMMSA

More and more groups and individuals have continued to celebrate the sterling leadership qualities of the Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre Idi-Aba Abeokuta, Professor Adewale Musa-Olomu, over the steady  growth of  the Centre and more importantly, the establishment of the University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta ( FUMMSA)

This time around, it was the turn of Nursing Services Department to celebrate the man, whom they described as a leader par excellence.

The Head of Nursing Services Department, Mrs  Abosede Fagoyinbo  said the celebration becomes necessary as the Centre was breaking new grounds and recording  new feats, the latest being the appointment of Governing Board for FUMMSA by the Federal Government.

In a letter of appreciation presented to the Medical Director Mrs Fagoyinbo, on behalf of her department commended  Prof Musa-Olomu  for his unwavering commitment to excellence and  tireless efforts in taking the Centre to greater heights.

The Medical Director who  could not hide his joy expressed appreciation to Almighty God and former Governor of Ogun State , Senator Ibikunle Amosun who facilitated the legislative back up, with support from the Alake of  Egbaland  among others for the berth of the medical institution.

He said the  new university will be a pride of the generations to come.

In attendance at the celebration were some members the  Hospital Management Committee, nursing students from Ogun State College of Nursing, Abeokuta, Sacred Heart College of Nursing and the Crescent University Nursing department ,Abeokuta.

The students appreciated  the Medical Director,  describing him as a  loving father and an outstanding leader.
